Creating a safe space for discussion and encouraging the curiosity of young people makes me feel that the pupils we teach are taking what they learn beyond the classroom. I'm confused because a lot of people have told me that you can, but others have said I'd basically have to go and get an English degree. I would have thought you could but it might depend on the place running the PGCE course.
