Connecting your iPhone to your computer via the iTunes multimedia management software allows you to transfer music, videos, photos and other data between the device and your PC.
As of version A USB cable is required to set up Wi-Fi syncing the first time, after which a wireless connection can be established whenever your iPhone and PC are connected to the same network. Launch iTunes on your PC and click the "Help" menu. Select "Check for Updates," and allow any available updates to install. Add items to your device manually by dragging. You can sync a device wirelessly with multiple computers, but each type of content can be synced with only one computer.
Syncing over Wi-Fi is slower than syncing over a cable. If you connect a device to your computer while the device is syncing over Wi-Fi, syncing continues over the cable. Turn on Wi-Fi syncing Connect your device to your computer. If you connect a device to your Mac while the device is syncing over Wi-Fi, syncing continues over the cable.
Syncing resumes when you reconnect the device using a cable or over Wi-Fi. Click General in the button bar. Use the button bar to turn on and select sync settings. Click Apply.
